Illustration Friday: CRASH

A last minute entry for this topic but here's my CRASH illustration. I was going to skip it but I want to keep up with IF every week... even if it means posting up rough work. Lately I've been having sugar crashes due to co-workers giving me all candies, fudge, and cake. Well worth the sugar crash!! :)

Illustration Friday: SPROUT

Here's my entry for the sprout topic for IF. It was inspired by my friends who are currently expecting and have recently given birth. I'm so happy for them and wish them all well. I have soooo many babies to play with and spoil!!

back to the drawing board

I haven't drawn for quite a while! Below is a doodle I made of one of my co-workers(15min). I made it with PS while waiting for my ride at work. I felt so inspired that when I got home i searched for a Zach Graff reference picture and drew him up in PS. I''m still very rusty but I plan to keep up with my personal art work and attend life drawing sessions as aften as I can. Now I'm just trying to think of what to draw for the current Illustration Friday topic: sprouts.

Illustration Friday: MONSTER

oooh la la... it has been a while since I posted. Here's my monster! Actually my Graphire 2 pen is the real monster right now. The buttons don't work anymore but the tip still does... sometimes. I'm looking forward to getting the Graphire 4 pen I ordered... I hope it will be sturdier than it looks.

Big strides, little strides... poor pooch. It needs more refining but I think I can just call it done for now. Just glad to finally participate in IF!

Illustration Friday: COLD

It's very cold in Vancouver right now... well, to me. I'm just so happy because I had fun doing this.

Wow... ok... this is a start. I will try my best to keep up with Illustration Friday. I am so thankful that I stumbled upon the site... several times, actually. I've been perusing several artists' sites and blog in search for inspiration. Most of them led me to IF. There are many of you out there... talented, prolific, funny and inspiring. I finally realized that just looking is not going to make me a better artist. I need to draw, colour and most of all, have fun doing it without being too hard on myself. You see, I've been stuck in this creative block for the longest time. Sounds like I'm reaching out for support... scary!
